Charge

1. The Executive committee will review the agenda for Academic Senate Meetings.
2. Provides direction and initiates charges to Senate Committees.
3. Proposes agenda items, and receives recommendations from Senate Committees, and forwards the items and recommendations to the Senate floor for debate in a timely manner.
4. Nominates, upon request, individuals to represent the faculty and academic professionals on administratively initiated committees, task forces or to other ASU West posts.
5. Serves, upon request, as an advisory body to the chief administrative officers of ASU West
6. Carries out other charges as assigned by the Executive Committee of the Senate.
